Holy Ghost Led Music can be summed up in this one scripture, Habakkuk 2:3. It says "for the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry." This vision was given to Roderick and Monica Williams over four years ago. The Lord put on Roderick's and Monica's heart to write lyrics that expressed the heart of the Father.

The message in these lyrics ranged from rebuke and edification to encouragement and direction and whatever else God wanted to say!! In 2007 at a youth conference, Roderick was introduced to music producer Prentice Dupins Jr. and the two have collaborated ever since. This partnership was brought together by God because the two shared the same vision of what God intended for his music to be. The two were on one accord about some of the most controversial topics in the body of Christ...Hip-Hop and the merging of the world and the church.

The timing of this album couldn't have came at a better time. As the world gains more influence in the church, we are seeing a falling away from the faith and also a separation in which those who have an "appearance of godliness" are being more and more accepted and the saints of God who are of sound doctrine are being persucuted by the world and the "church". But God has raised up a remnant of his people that will not compromise and will not be conformed to the world for any reason, but will stand steadfast in the faith speaking and living the Word of God unto his Glory!

So what can you expect from HGLM?

A gospel group that produces Christ centered and compromise free music that is all original and is used to uplift the name of Jesus Christ. We, as a company, do not condone Hip Hop or Holy Hip Hop. We do however, support those who produce Godly music that has not be tainted by the world and is used for the purpose of promoting the Kingdom of God and his message. We exist to provide that type of music to all who are willing to hear.
